Focusing on production processes of the textile industry and the factory working conditions, clothing companies responsible for their production are not fully aware of what is actually going on in factories. They tell the world ‘we use good materials’, ‘no unsafe chemicals are used’ and ‘our products are always produced in a responsible manner’. They are not sharing relevant information concerning the process of raw materials, spinning, making sheets, adding colors and prints. Or how the chemicals are being used, stored and transported. Or how the products get checked within the process and how they are transported to stores. Instead they are feeding the world reassuring words and images. As a response I created a serie of photographs, functioning as a metaphor to raise awareness of what is actually happening behind the factory walls and my concern towards the workers.  With the serie my aim is to reveal what is being concealed and dismantle their disguise.
Speculating on this matter, I state that in 50 years (2071) the human body of the factory workers will go through a transformation - the over exposure to the chemicals combined with the horrific working conditions the workers are usually daily exposed to will form a chemical reaction with the skin and transform their human bodies into manipulated dysfunctional flesh.
